Director Puneet Sira makes his feature debut with this provocative call for British-based Asians to unite in the face of neo-Nazi racism. Produced by its star, Sohail Khan, the story turns around the old imperial tactic of divide and rule, as skinhead Tim Lawrence allies with Pakistani exile Imran Ali Khan to drive Sohail's Indian family from its London neighbourhood. The romance between Sohail and Imran's sister, Heena Tasleem, smacks of Bollywood contrivance, but the discussion of the rise of supremacist intolerance in the UK and the impact of subcontinental tension on the diaspora is well-meaning, if occasionally naive.

    far fetched

skinheads existed in the 80,s in the uk and they did not rampage asian areas but attack individual people of foreign appearence. they would normally chant racial abuse from a distance. this film portrays them as very bad people indeed. anyway the film is set in modern days where skinheads do not exist anymore a good riddance.

    VERY SLOW

TO PROVE A POINT THIS FILM GOES A VERY LONG WAY BUT IT SHOWS THE PROBLEMS PEOPLE FACE WHEN THEY ARE FORCED TO BE SILENT WHEN THE AGRESSOR IS SO STRONG LIKE IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD WE KNOW

THE WEAK PEOPLE CAN ONLY THROW STONES OR SHOUT AGAINST THE MIGHTY HELICOPTER GUNSHIPS USED AGAINST THEM.
