The clue is in the title.

Let's be honest, if you don't follow British Superbikes, or have any interest in motorcycle racing, this film isn't for you.
For those that do, then this film is pretty much what you would expect, essentially a 2011 season review but with extra attention to the top riders fighting for the championship.
Unlike the previous film which followed the entire season, this film concentrates on the build up to the final three races, hence the 'showdown' in the title, and captures the tension of the final race beautifully.
The usual highlights, interviews and team footage in a race documentary that's as good as any other race documentary.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)Good, could be better
By Nen (28 reviews) from Bristol , 09 Jan 2013Good film & the final showdown is exciting, even though you know the result. What lets it down is the decision to show grainy lo-res shots of all the actual races. The rest of the film is sharp & crispy- Was this review helpful to you?

Second film, twice as good as the first
By Frank2012 (5 reviews) , 03 Jan 2013I wasn't sure about bothering to watch this after not really enjoying the first film. Glad I did. Loads better in build up to final round. Good background. Well worth a watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great documentary
By Greatgee (1 review) , 13 Aug 2012I'm not a biker, but I love motorsport.
What an excellent insight into one of the personalities of the sport.
The coverage of the TT event was also very very good.
Seriously considering buying myself a copy to watch over and over again.- Was this review helpful to you?
