In a film as wishy washy as its title, six university friends meet up again at a mutual pal's wedding. Firstly we are subjected to their unfortunate back stories in flashback, before the gang of Bob (Alexis Arquette), his boyfriend (Tuc Watkins) and the rest appear at girlfriend Lauren Velez's nuptials where their college habit of bed hopping is resurrected. And boy, they're surprised to discover that very little has changed. As far as token gay drama goes, this is old-fashioned fare and unsupported by poor standards in almost every department: acting, script and direction.

    Excellent Film

I was very surprised by the reserved reviews of this film. The central story line is of two young men who are best friends, one of them gay, one straight. One night, drunken high-jinks go too far, and mistaking his friend's intent, Bob (the gay guy) does the unthinkable and gropes Brendon. A bitter rift between them occurs that lasts until they reunite at mutual friends' wedding. Bob is now a successful writer of a daytime soap, dating the handsome leading actor. Brendon is alone.

The story travels seamlessly from college years to this reunion, played out during the parties that punctuate their lives: Christmas; Halloween; Valentine's Day, and finally, the wedding.

The two lead characters are totally convincing, and the way their relationship ebbs and flows is very naturalistic. There's no graphic content, but I guarantee you'll get a tingle from some of the scenes. Great supporting characters and story lines that enhance, rather than detract from the main one.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film; gay or not, I highly recommend it.

    Not a Good Film

Was very disappointed by this film. The sound quality was very bad and it was difficult to understand what was being said during the begining. Unpleasant characters and no atmosphere, wish I had rented something else.
