No story - Not funny

Chris Rock is mildly amusing three times, for three seconds a time, in this dull, predictable, tedius film. One plot, no sub plots and just goes on and on and on. Don't waste your time, unless you really, really have nothing better to do - like lick the road clean with your tongue!- Was this review helpful to you?

It was great to see he could play the romantic guy.
This film made me see the funny side of relationships, especially rock style.
Chris rocked da movie.

I think you can give this a miss
By rahsaanwest (9 reviews) , 08 Aug 2011With movies such as this it's best to take them with a pinch of salt. We all know it will be a comedy, as it Chris Rock and that it will not be a great movie, so best to keep those expectations low and you will not be disappointed.
All this considered I was still let down with this movie.
Without giving away the plot, the story doesn't really make sense in my opinion, the decisions the character makes are more to do with padding out the plot than anything else.
The characters are also not very likeable either. I am talking in particular of the main character, his wife and the mistress.
The film is funny in places but I think that the writers could have done a lot better and made this film into a better romantic comedy with more of a message, considering the subject matter.- Was this review helpful to you?

Enjoyable but not great

funny made me laugh
