A couple of young lads doing a media study course, aim for the bright lights of hollywood. To get to the top these guys decide to hawk a script around several production companies, only to inadvertently fall upon a production company who promote the seedier sort of film, inadvertently the lads are cornered into having to make a blue film to extricate themselves from a tricky situation (is this starting to sound a little benny hill meets carry on ?), and the whole thing dissolves into a well written well produced and hilariously acted farce, everyone in this made me laugh out loud.
A British film, with a great cast, this could possibly be the funniest film you might see all year (any film that can make a rib-tickler out of a ribbed-tickler can't be all bad can it ?). I would definately recommend this as worth a watch !
Didn't know what this film was about when I went to the preview. Story of 2 struggling students who come good in the 'adult' film industry. Some very funny moments throughout... just don't go and see it with your 15 year old daughter like I did!!!
The basic idea was good; Carmen, porn & Leatherhead (the town in Surrey, not the bloke from Texas). Sadly, this failed badly; the two leads are just dull, Carmen looks damn hot but no sign of a red swimsuit, very few laughs, no T & A. Overall, little point in watching.

I love british comedies but this was really poor. The trailers looked great but it wasnt as funny as it was made to look.

They made it look like it might be ok in the trailers and i'd like to know how much the critics are getting paid to say this is a good film. Bad story terrible acting boring film. Its not even worth watching for a perv over Carmen Electra awful awful film if i was forced to watch it again i think i would poke my eyes out! Another embarrassment for British film!
Sorry, I just did not like this film. Every turn in the script was totally unbelievable, and it was not very funny.
Maybe some will like it. Put it this way: if you think that somebody eating toast with pubic hair in the butter is hilarious, and if are not bothered by the logic of two guys apparently believing that combining their epic love story script with a porn movie will get them into Hollywood, then you'll like this film.
good film to watch quite funny.
