Your head will explode!
This film is crazy. It's violent, gory, surreal and extremely entertaining. Let's just say, you won't forget it in a hurry. If you want to see one of the films that influenced Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, watch this. It's one of the films he mentioned when being interviewed about making Kill Bill.

Anime at its best
To be honest I thought I was about to watch Ichi the killer the movie not this anime (Japanese cartoon) that the movie is based on.
But to my surprise this was amazing. This is definitely not for the faint hearted as even though this is a 'cartoon' the graphic violence and blood is very shocking.
It tells the story of a smart young man who gets bullied everyday and he bottles all his problems up until, boom! This smart young man changes into this violent blood lusting animal with some serious mental problems.
If you are thinking of watching the full live movie I would advise you to watch this first. Then you will know if you can stomach the movie or not. This is one of the best animes I have every seen, up there with the one in Kill Bill. If you like your movies to be full of blood and violence then this is for you. If not stay well clear! -
