Better than Zatoichi

Ignore the Time Out review. This film is far superior to Zatoichi. Ok the baddies do over egg it a bit and the cgi blood effects could be better but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I watched this in blu ray and the scenery is stunning with a gorgeous soundtrack. I knew the direction was going to be good when the early snow shots were for real. Some of his angles and framing were unique for this type of film. This is one film director to watch and I'll be looking out for others by him.

And Haruka (also Cyborg Girl) is lovely , which is a bonus!
