A lot of things in this film are really stupid, but the comedy is in the irony of the future people who are so stupid themselves that they find it hilarious. If you don't get the irony or realise the consequences of dysgenics and anti-intellectualism then you probably won't get this film.
It isn't just a satirical black comedy, but also a stimulus to make people think about the dumming down of our society and what happens if global corporations are left unchecked ... than is, if they can still think!
Thought it was interesting and funny in places. Misses the mark often but i love the whole idea even if the finished product isn't that finely polished.
Worth a rent but not one to add to your collection
A forthcoming film featuring Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale as a couple who stop at a creepy hotel has been described as a "strong thriller" by an online reviewer.
