another crazy wacky comedy horror
By AdrianWalsh (226 reviews) from Lancaster , 16 Aug 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
What can I say about this? Story line first then... A guy gets one of his hands possessed by an evil force which makes his hand go crazy and kill people. Cheap laughs gory effects and every film needs one - they popped Jessica Alba as the stunning girl next door. I did manage to stick with it although it wasn't easy. Would of got one star but it has got Jessica in so I'll give it 2 ;)- Was this review helpful to you?

(32)Idle Hands
By Emjay69 (328 reviews) from Kidlington, Oxford , 12 May 2011A film with a difference. As a comedy there are no belly laughs. A a horror movie there are no frightening bits.
As a teenager, perhaps, very funny. As a pensioner it appears differently, still funny, but not the older brand of comedy. It's well acted with a good storyline and I'm pleased that I have seen it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Offbeat black comedy
By BigMeUp (281 reviews) from Midlands, UK , 09 May 2010The film raises a few laughs, but mostly fails to rise to its potential due to incredibly slack writing (come on, an African-American `druid`??). Eye-candy Jessica Alba for once does a credible job at acting (I know!) but is largely wasted. Seth Green and Elden Henson are convincingly moronic but inexplicably immortal, and no one seems to care that half-a-dozen people including two police officers have disappeared.
I can't understand how this film ever got made.- Was this review helpful to you?
