The Beast with Five Fingers is given an energetic Scream! update in this delightful horror comedy, which casts a winking eye on genre clichés and cannily redefines them into first-class popcorn entertainment. Lazy student Devon Sawa can't control his supernaturally possessed hand and ends up killing his best friends without knowing it. Everything from Evil Dead II to Death Becomes Her gets worked over by director Rodman Flender, who pushes the scare button on numerous occasions and always hits the funny bone with over-the-top gross-outs. A welcome surprise.

    another crazy wacky comedy horror

What can I say about this? Story line first then... A guy gets one of his hands possessed by an evil force which makes his hand go crazy and kill people. Cheap laughs gory effects and every film needs one - they popped Jessica Alba as the stunning girl next door. I did manage to stick with it although it wasn't easy. Would of got one star but it has got Jessica in so I'll give it 2 ;)

Fun stuff indeed - mindless gore and humour in true WingNut tradition. Worth a watch this without the kids.
