another crazy wacky comedy horrorBy AdrianWalsh (226 reviews) from Lancaster , 16 Aug 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]What can I say about this? Story line first then... A guy gets one of his hands possessed by an evil force which makes his hand go crazy and kill people. Cheap laughs gory effects and every film needs one - they popped Jessica Alba as the stunning girl next door. I did manage to stick with it although it wasn't easy. Would of got one star but it has got Jessica in so I'll give it 2 ;)

Idle HandsBy Emjay69 (328 reviews) from Kidlington, Oxford , 12 May 2011A film with a difference. As a comedy there are no belly laughs. A a horror movie there are no frightening bits.
As a teenager, perhaps, very funny. As a pensioner it appears differently, still funny, but not the older brand of comedy. It's well acted with a good storyline and I'm pleased that I have seen it.
horror comedy and danm well funnyBy a customer from London , 11 Sep 2010this horror was one with a difference a teen wakes up to find his parents gone he then goes to his buddies and that is when the fun begins he has a hand that he can not control that kills people a priest who knows what the problem sets about to help him overall i liked it it is a horror/comedy
Offbeat black comedyBy BigMeUp (281 reviews) from Midlands, UK , 09 May 2010The film raises a few laughs, but mostly fails to rise to its potential due to incredibly slack writing (come on, an African-American `druid`??). Eye-candy Jessica Alba for once does a credible job at acting (I know!) but is largely wasted. Seth Green and Elden Henson are convincingly moronic but inexplicably immortal, and no one seems to care that half-a-dozen people including two police officers have disappeared.
I can't understand how this film ever got made.
What to say??????By MrBear (24 reviews) from Tipton , 15 Aug 2009Kids will love it
Adults will find it nauseous
It's basically Marmite.......... You either love it or hate it
Ideal maybe for those who enjoyed Shaun of the Dead, but would like something more american.
idle handsBy a customer from Taunton , 14 Dec 2008though i was expecting this film to be awful, it wasn't that bad. there was quite a few laugh out loud moments, but mainly just cheesy american teenage scare genre. i would say its alrite for a one time viewing but not a film i would want to buy myself.very entertaining.
