    thought provoking

The subject of abortion is very contaversial and this dvd shows three stories dealing with this subject. Each story was interesting and thought provoking, but what stood out to me was the issue of womens rights.

Only one of the stories had a fathers feelings portrayed, the other two dealt with women on their own - one a widow and the other dumped. In all of them the women had careers and lives that would be turned upside down by the arrival of a child.

In the first story Demi Moore faces the prejudice of society and rejection by her family. The second story deals with a woman who already has a family and is putting herself through college, which she is willing to give up to have another child. The third story deals with a student dumped by the father who pays her to have an abortion. She then has to face anti-abortion campaigners, one of whom even asks for forgiveness for women being independent!

This dvd is worth a watch but if you believe in a woman's freedom of choice the prejudice portrayed will have you up in arms.
