this dvd is superb. It stars (the voices of) John Cleese, Eddie Izzard, Molly Shannon, Christian Slater, John Cusack and Steve Bescemi, Jennifer Coolidge, Arsenio Hall, Sean Hayes, Jay Leno and James Lipton.
The evil land of Malaria was once a happy place, until heavy storm clouds moved in one day and never left.
Malaria soon fell into despair, darkness and ruin, until King Malbert came up with a plan to bring prosperity back to the land. Every year, Malaria would hold an evil science fair, and the winner's invention would be used to extort huge sums of money from the rest of the world.
With this prestigous prize, mad scientists gained power, and it became customary that all hunchbacks be sent to Igor school, where they become experts in the art of 'yes master' and train to assist the scientists in their evil work.
One Igor, however, aspires to rise above the hunch on his back and win the science fair with his own invention.
The chance arises when his master is unexpectedly blown out of the picture. So Igor gets to work in creating the monster of his dreams, with the help of his two previous experiments that went slightly wrong -- Brain, an unintelligent brain in a jar, and Scamper, a suicidal but immortal bunny brought back from being road kill.
Igor's monster is huge and hideous. T
The problem is, that she turns out to be a good-hearted soul who dreams of being an actress.
Igor uses this desire against her by telling her that the science fair is an audition for a role, and that she must act evil and destructive to get the part.
Eva's kind nature soon opens Igor's eyes to the opposite side of evil, however, and when he later learns the truth about Malaria's storm clouds, he realizes that being the evil capital of the world is not all it's cracked up to be.
Igor is then determined to set things right... but can he?

boring or what?
By a customer , 06 Mar 2012I thought the the film had fantastic graphics and the idea behind it was great and I looked forward to watching it - but I found it to be a bit boring .I can't quite work out why. I usually find these types of films very entertaining ( I loved Tangled ) but I found myself trying to change the channel(yes, I did say that! lol) looking for something more. I just couldn't get myself to care about the people in it or what would happen to them .- Was this review helpful to you?

Blind orphans get everything!
By Moviemoron (3 reviews) from Newton Aycliffe , 02 Dec 2011Works for all audiences. My boyfried was rather peeved that i'd rented a 'kids film' but afterwards he couldn't stop talking about it; I was like: Dude I was there watching it with you, shut up! But yeah it's totally brilliant - a childs film with a dark side, hugely comical I mean c'mon, there's an immortal sarcastic rabbit! The CGI and special effects are top of their game; well made almost realistic film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Cute and funny film for all the family
By Joeysdreamgarden (5 reviews) , 03 Nov 2011Loved this film - storyline interesting enough for adults (I'm 38) so it's great to watch as a family, with lots of comedic moments - I watched the whole film with a smile on my face!
A few nice extras - interesting to see all the artwork/designs for the posters.- Was this review helpful to you?
