    Filmmaker Michael Radford has been forced to suspend shooting on upcoming movie La Mula a week before it was due to wrap over financial fears. The Il Postino director announced to his cast and crew he had no choice but to halt the comedy, about the Spanish Civil War, on Saturday (31Oct09).     Tim Robbins is in line to direct a new film version of George Orwell's classic novel 1984.
