Unbelievable directorial debut. Gritty, shocking, tragic, intelligent story from a first time movie writer/director.

As he says at the start 'allow me to take you back and forth through time', it is a non linear movie, which has been set out very well - when it catches up, it does so with a bang.

I cried the first time I watched the movie, at the premiere. It truly is a crazy story - people doubt how true it is because it's so hard to believe.

    Absolute must see.

Ben Drew has created Gold!!! Given the modest budget for this movie, its hard not to be impressed, and no cheesy undertones...

Excellent film. Realistic depiction of life is our society, very enlightening. Ben Drew has excelled with this film and Loved the cameo appearance, brilliant soundtrack, fantastic acting. Hope to see more from him.

  • 0.001 percent of the Hobbits budget; 1000 times better!

I wouldn't normally watch a film like this, but I’m so glad I did. A gritty plot of the reality of drug dealing and being part of 'Broken Britain'. It's a thought provoking film, at the time of watching I thought 'not bad' and would have given this a 3* (The music alone gives it 2*s!) but it's a film that stays with you, makes you think about the plot and how different your life could have been, how your life can almost be related to the different characters (albeit not with a drug dealing theme). For a film that cost £100k it gives so much more than Hollywood 'blockbusters'; it's 0. 001% of the budget for 'The Hobbit' which although has better CGI (The only bit of CGI in this film looks like a 10 year old did it) doesn't have the emotional connection with the audience. I would highly recommend this film, I'm not one to write reviews, in fact I tend to only give bad ones to warn people, but this is a great watch. It's a long film, but stick with it! I'll say it again, the MUSIC IS AMAZING. Finally a director that integrates songs to the film. No generic pop songs or sound bites in this!

This film is weak!!! Expected so much more pointless story lines. Poor acting I really would entertain this film just buy the soundtrack instead.

Great film, VERY dark and harrowing though so be warned. A bit like 'Nil by Mouth', very good and I'm glad I watched it but I won't be putting myself through it again. The music is excellent as you would expect if you are a fan of Plan B and after seeing 'The Sweeney' this film benefits from the fact that Ben stays behind the camera. Don't let anything put you off though, if you haven't seen it and like your films gritty and real then watch this, you won't be disappointed.
