Recently saw this film at the London Film Festival. It was a very good portrayal of the mindset of returning soldiers who find their home ground as big a war zone as the battlefield. The cast and crew were on stage after and Mel Raido was so nervous that it was hard to see he had just played such a violent role. That is acting.A tribute to the soldiers who suffer so we may sleep easy/

I love Brit movies, thats why I rented this. I was enjoying it and then the credits roll and your left wondering, is that it? Do we have to wait for a sequel to complete the tail? Imagine a good book with the last page torn out, thats how I felt.

Imagine a good meal at a top restaurant. Lovely starter, excellent main course. Then the coffee arrives with the bill and you havent had your pudding!

  • Not worth a watch.

As a person who has served in the British Army in Iraq and elsewhere I think this is a very unresearched film. 'Post traumatic stress disorder' has various effects but this film showed the soldiers as mindless, violence-hungry animals. This film was not atall well researched and just showed British soldiers out of context and in a bad light just to create dramatic effect. If you want to know what life as a soldier is like, ask a soldier or watch one of the many well reasearched documentarys. Dont bother watching this film.

A good film which gives insights into the stresses experienced by homecoming soldiers but it was spoilt by excessive use of f-word. I know you can't expect this film to omit it completely but it spoilt the film for us.

A gritty drama on what happens to some people who have been in wars and how they are affected. Worth a watch
