I saw this in a late night screening last night, what a treat!
Shot in black and white and with a cast of 4 main characters 2 of which take up most of the screen time, this story manages to make you laugh, cry and think all in 100 mins .
The plot as you would no doubt know by now is about a lonely misfit who after 6 years of being single and under the pressure of his flatmate puts an ad of the internet to find someone special to kiss at midnight on New Years eve. What you expect happens, he meets a girls shes a living nightmare with more issues than himself but of course they end up falling for each other, what the film does however is use these to their advantage and throw in improv and (really) great dialogue, and has quite possibly the crudest but funniest opening scene in recent memory.
Rent it now!
Film details did not indicate crude, offensive and so not funny story line.
Prude, I may be, but there should be some kind of warning - I would not have chosen this film had I known what it contained. Watched about fifteen minutes too much.
