[Highly rated reviewer]Although in name it's a good cast they have to cope with a poor script and direction. They look as bored as I was watching. Overall, it seems to be a botton-grade TV movie and it's hard to say anything positive about it.
Perkins deserved betterBy a customer from Kent , 29 Oct 2010Its a shame this is Anthony Perkins last film as he deserved a better send off. Considering he was battling AIDs at the time this film was made, its any wonder he managed to get through it. He spends the first half of the film gazing ahead and breathing heavily, which may have been Anthonys way of empathising with the viewer because this is a fairly mundane made for TV murder mystery.
It picks up a bit when Anthony gets some half decent dialogue and the film does manage to throw the viewer off the identity of the killer a few times, albeit unsubtely.
Rosanna Arquette is a decent bit of eye candy, but apart from that, not that much to recommend about this.
what a swan songBy shunter1 (35 reviews) from Bridgend , 07 Aug 2008omg,how did anthony perkins get talked into filming this rubbish, I was really looking forward to this, but switched off half way through
Sad departureBy david skene from aberdeenshire, scotland , 10 Apr 2007This final movie starring Anthony Perkins is dire. Basically t.v. movie fodder. And bad t.v. movie at that. Avoid.
