We have been gripped by this series since Series 1, and the latest season continues the high standard. Superb acting, incisive scripts and a great format.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)Drama of the gifted script
By a customer , 28 Oct 2012I have enjoyed the entire series which has provided intelligent scripts and extremely gripping acting always from Gabriel Byrne and almost without exception from his 'clients'.
The final series surpassed itself, dealing as it does with the complexity of relationship that underpins the therapeutic relationship and how it can help and hinder the search for clarity and meaning in an individual's life. I found myself holding my breath at times at the intensity and honesty being portrayed and the final session between Paul and Adele was quite perfect and exactly as it should have been for a successful outcome to Paul's existential dilemma.
Hate the thought of no more episodes, but it ended just at the right time.- Was this review helpful to you?

Superb series with integrity that went out on a high
By a customer , 22 May 2012In Treatment is a fascinating, compelling show that draws you in, makes you think, and stuns you with the quality of the acting and writing. Gabriel Byrne won a Golden Globe for his performance, and all the actors playing his patients are superb.
If you like drama that rewards patience, and where you can't wait for the next disc to arrive, then watch the whole set of episodes right through, this is for you. I urge you to try this series.- Was this review helpful to you?

In Treatment is a treat
By a customer , 15 Apr 2012This series has been the best viewing experience I have had for a long time. Why has Gabriel Byrne not been recognised for his superb portrayal of a troubled analyst? The dialogue between him and his patients and his own therapists have been so believable that I felt it could be a docu-drama.
I hope more of the series is being made, it is SO gripping.- Was this review helpful to you?
