Watanabe takes year off to rebuild Japan

Inception star Ken Watanabe is taking a hiatus from Hollywood so he can assist with rebuilding efforts in his native Japan. The actor has returned to the Far East to film a documentary about disaster recovery after a massive tremor struck his homeland last March (11), sending a huge tidal wave inland and killing more than 15,000 people. Christopher Nolan's hit movie Inception was the big winner at the 37th annual Saturn Awards on Thursday night (23Jun11), picking up a total of five prizes. Mickey Rourke has dropped out of playing gay rugby star Gareth Thomas in a new biopic after struggling with stunt training for the movie.
