(45)Classic adventure yarn….
By twosoddingcats (214 reviews) from Kingston-upon-Thames , 25 Mar 2013I realised I hadn’t seen this the first time it came out, so rented it and River Phoenix does a good job as the young Indiana with Harrison Ford still looking young as the older Indiana. Great support cast from Denholm Elliot and the charming Sean Connery as Indiana’s father. Good use of Petra in Jordan for the holy grail sequence and the Nazi’s are the classic baddies also after the grail. My only bug bear is that the final scenes were unplayable on the disc so the ending was ruined- I wish discs were checked more thoroughly! Apart from that, this is classic Indiana Jones…very light weight action fluff but great escapism.- Was this review helpful to you?

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
By a customer from Sudbury , 16 Nov 2010This was always my favourite of the original 3 films, and is still good today. Sean Connery brings his presence but doesn't take over the film. I am currently introducing my children to the Indiana Jones films and so far they have enjoyed all 3 that we have watched, a number of times! Good fun family films.- Was this review helpful to you?
