A B-movie about a run down hospital which has a very ill man dumped on them. Within a few minutes the man has pretty much turned to a dripping mess of slime, but manages to escape and prowl the hospital. The infection spreads to produce a series of set-piece horror scenes as the infection causes the initial delerium. One such scene is when the infected head nurse reaches into a clinical waste bin to retrieve some consumables and comes out not only with those, but with a lot of hypodermics stuck in her hand (as also seen in Saw2) and then as she places the bits into an autoclave you realise that she's also dunked her hands into the boiling water.
The set looks like a typical disused building that first-time filmmakers find, not at all like a hospital.
The script and characters are terrible, more suitable to an American daytime soap set in a hospital.
The premise is nothing new.
The acting looks bad, but I'm prepared to be wrong here because I Japanese mannerisms are not so easily judged by the Western eye.
I'd miss this one, you'd be a lot better off with Saw, Braindead, High Tension, Descent, and so many more.
