The film that kicked off 'The Departed' and like most originals, is better than its successor...don't get me wrong, 'The Departed' was a fantastic film but this version is slightly grittier, darker with less of the Hollywood frills decorating it...Lau and Leung play their roles superbly and the whole tense, cat-&-mouse atmosphere is just brilliant...
As always with these kind of films, you have to watch it with subtitles...tried watching it with the dubbing on and was just laughing too hard to concentrate on the film...
