(368)Clever Story
By KAZedin (3 reviews) , 11 May 2013We watched this as a family and my kids aged 12 and 9, absolutely loved it. The story was clever and surprising and was different from other films we have seen. Definitely worth a view.- Was this review helpful to you?

What a great fantasy film
By a customer , 23 Feb 2013Yes we enjoyed this film. In our 50's now but we really loved the film. Books brought to life - a genuine fantasy film for those who appreciate the 'reality' of book life.- Was this review helpful to you?

A children's film. I expected too much.
By Mickafela (16 reviews) , 24 Aug 2012If you're a Brendan Fraser fan you will love this film it's right up there with 'The Journey to the Centre of the Earth' and directly underneath 'The Mummy Returns; The Dragon Emperor'.
This is a family film for children, do not expect anything mythologically inspiring.- Was this review helpful to you?

Too complicated for very small children and lacked depth for adults
By a customer , 29 Apr 2012Very slow and did not feel attached to the characters, really did not care what happened to them. The old dear in it was a bit funny.- Was this review helpful to you?
