Most helpful review
courtroom drama
By arun from Liverpool, UK , 11 Jun 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
A film made on the pretext of addressing a social issue.
It seems that director is most interested in the glamour of Zeenat Aman and Padmini Kolhapuree, so the film falls flat in its face.
Raj Babbar fits in his role to the T.
The film is reflective of the times and jarrs in the current period.- Was this review helpful to you?

Average Movie
By a customer from England , 29 Apr 2005Did not find it very intriguing. It could have been made a bit more interesting. I think it was an extreme case scenario and unrealistic.- Was this review helpful to you?

Rather Naught for Bollywood
By KAR1M from ENGLAND , 27 Jan 2005If you've seen Lipstick (English film) you will want to watch this film. The songs are flat, but the movie is slick and well made. The DVD quality is razor sharp and one of the best I've seen with subtitles.
Enjoy ... but dont let the very young see it!- Was this review helpful to you?

Wonderful Performance
By AyoOyebade from Beds , 06 Feb 2004Zeenat Aman is one of India's best actresses. She combines a flair for comedy with dramatic undertones. Other actresses may look pretty but their roles are merely supports for the male. Zeenat holds this film together with her beauty, vulnerability and great strength. She was brilliant in "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" but excels in this movie about the injustice that women face as victims. She is never melodramatic, she is simply ACE.- Was this review helpful to you?
