The Beeb do crime drama well, and I love the lynley series, based on the books by Elizabeth George. You might think the idea of a posh bloke and rough bird won't work, but the actors are appealing - Barbara Havers is considerably less attractive in the books!
They are into about the 4th or 5th series now, and while some stories are better than others, this is a classy show.
Enjoyed this series so as missed some of it wanted to see it through. Thankfully good viewing and with hubby away gave me something to watch on my own without any interuptions. Good plots although sometimes a little slow. Enjoyable viewing though.
