Good choice by Farrell...By snipper1 from Surrey , 28 Feb 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]This is the Irish Trainspotting for me, what a great film. Brilliantly observed script, humour, drama and a touch of romance. The characters were very likeable particularly easy to relate to. It was great to see that the bright lights of Hollywood had not completely blinded Colin Farrells taste and eye for a good script. Unfortunately i think this film wont get the praise it desreves as the marketing has not been there but nonetheless, this is a definite to add to your rental list.

Good crackBy Swayzaur (26 reviews) from Manchester , 09 Oct 2008Decent film, strong Irish cast- the Farreler is on good form and Colm Meaney is always worth a watch. I gather it is a bit of a cult smash amongst Dubliners, with lots of banter. Some nice touches but nothing revolutionary.
Sidesplitting, slick, what a film!By a customer from Oxford , 14 Sep 2008With a galaxy of world class actors and a punchy, pacy and preposterous storyline, there's little that could go wrong with this movie. Indeed, it exceeded expectations in many ways. Imbued with Dublin characters who speak such a charming and eloquent slang I stopped the dvd several times just to write down some of the wonderful expressions: e.g., 'me sounds', 'me ronny', 'it's delish' to name but a few.
Colin Farrell is mean and so is Colm Meaney but in a very humorous and powerful way, the film ends on a happy note. That's all I'll give away. Make sure you're prepared for a laugh as this one is a killer.
Well done, Ireland, I'd say!
Entertaining, but nothing exceptionalBy a customer from Worcester , 29 Jul 2008Enjoyed Intermission - it was entertaining enough - but nothing special. There were certainly some pretty funny moments, and Colin Farell and Cillian Murphy played their parts well, but the starring role for me was played by the Ronnie!
Just OKBy Nirvanablue (61 reviews) from Surrey, UK , 07 Jul 2008Started off OK. Somewhere towards the end I fell asleep and couldn't be arsed to watch the end the next day which says it all really! As the title above says, just OK.
Intermission (2003)By a customer from London, England , 25 May 2008No plot, shaky camera and not very good acting - even from Colin Farrell. Keep away unless you suffer from insomnia!!!
