Eye candy with a decent plot
By Gary from London , 25 Oct 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
This film was better than expected with stunning scenery, very attractive stars and a decent plot. If you are a big fan of either Jessica Alba or Paul Walker it is essential viewing. While the acting isn't brilliant, and it's never going to win any oscars, the plot does have a few interesting twists and there are several moral dilemmas that you end up thinking through yourself about what you would do in that position. If you want a film which is pretty easy to watch with eye candy (in swimwear for most of the film - well it is hot in the bahamas!) for both sexes then this film is well worth a look.- Was this review helpful to you?

(328)An underwater feast
By ricoh (94 reviews) from Calne , 17 Jul 2012I thought this film was about an unerwater beast, so it was a pleasant surprise to find it was anything but that. A decent storyline with some great visuals. A very enjoyable ride.- Was this review helpful to you?

LOVE LOVE LOVE
By Breeny64 (14 reviews) from St Albans, Herts , 30 Oct 2010I know he's is not everyone's cup of tea and Paul Walker will never win an Oscar, but I think he's gorgeous and not SUCH a bad actor as everyone makes out. The real beauty of this film, apart from Mr Walker being stripped to the waist 99% of the time (and yes Jessica Alba looks sexy in a bikini too, so something for the boys) is the cinematography as it's set in the Bahamas. The scuba diving photography is amazing and you can just lose yourself underwater for an hour and half. Yes, I am a fan of Mr Walker, but I don't like everything he's done (Fast & Furious was awful). I do recommend this film to anyone who wants to lose themselves in another world - we can all dream, can't we?- Was this review helpful to you?
