Excellent in every aspect!!By Hugh Farquhar from London, England , 24 Feb 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]When you have two of the most swarve actors playing off each other then you are bound to be onto a winner.
George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones are the alternate in finesse in this battle of love vs money. From the very first moment that Miles, George's character, and Marilyn, Catherine's character, meet you know that each character has completely different agendas. As Miles tries to woo Marilyn the audience is taken for a ride of hope and dispare, of will they, won't they get together. Just when you think that things have finally worked themselves out another spanner is thrown into the works.
I expect to be adding this to my DVD collection, excellent in every aspect!!

Farcical rubbishBy a customer , 03 Nov 2013Oh dear, started off with a great scene then descended into farce. What was Clooney thinking of appearing in this rubbish?
intolerable. .to watchBy a customer , 30 Sep 2013This is just about watchable if youre desperate .. I fell asleep twice in it as the acting is not all that. . George Clooney is not the best at comedy. Anf zeeta Jones although very beautiful should stick To darling buds... Very mildly amusing. . I wouldn't bother again..
Witty fast moving comedy.By Ferry41 (229 reviews) from Oxford , 04 Jun 2013I loved this film, and didn't understand why it was so poorly reviewed. Very funny snappy script with a tongue in cheek look at love, marriage and divorce. George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones sizzle and have great screen presence. I thought that it was a great watch.
Not one of Clooney's best.By a customer , 08 Nov 2012There are not many films that I switch off before the end but this was one of them. The slapstick antics of Clooney and co. were hard to absorb.
Not for me ... definately not one of Clooney's better films. Not recommended.
Good looks and that is about itBy a customer , 12 Apr 2012They look fabulous, Catherine looks superb and George too, but its a bit of a throw away film..watchable, but not worth writing home about..I do like the fact that George Clooney is always happy to look less than perfect on film..
