Excellent in every aspect!!By Hugh Farquhar from London, England , 24 Feb 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]When you have two of the most swarve actors playing off each other then you are bound to be onto a winner.
George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones are the alternate in finesse in this battle of love vs money. From the very first moment that Miles, George's character, and Marilyn, Catherine's character, meet you know that each character has completely different agendas. As Miles tries to woo Marilyn the audience is taken for a ride of hope and dispare, of will they, won't they get together. Just when you think that things have finally worked themselves out another spanner is thrown into the works.
I expect to be adding this to my DVD collection, excellent in every aspect!!

The title says it allBy a customer from Cotswolds , 19 Jan 2011Extremely average. No punch, no meaty content, just blah. The best part was the white standard poodle! And if you're not a dog lover, there's really no other reason to watch this.
Not so badBy a customer from london , 09 Oct 2010
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHidegood cast, funny lines, easy on the eye - with no plot at all. Good to watch once with no expectations....
intolerable to watchBy a customer from redditch , 21 May 2010this film was so dull i didn't even make it past the first half hour. neither clooney or zeta-jones characters were likeable, but billy bob thornton was funny.
Too CheeseyBy a customer from Glasgow , 25 Mar 2010The film started promising or better said, better than expected. The cheesyness however became to overpowering and I had to switch it off 3 quarters in.
Zeta Jones looked great though,, .wow momma !
Bit dissapointing for a Coen Brothers movie...
Intelligent filmBy Lovefilmaddict (1 review) from shrewsbury , 18 Mar 2010I really enjoyed this film. It was clever and well acted. Very lightweight but just what I wanted at the time!
