Ummm..... twaddle
By DeeDeeM (14 reviews) from London , 28 Mar 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
Twaddle. Albeit twaddle with the delightful Clive Owen, and other very talented and classy cast who are just wasted. Too many shots of some cloaked offender when we could have been enjoying some on screen magic (possibly even some dialogue) between the two leads.
There's really not much to the story: are monsters real or just figments of Clive Owen's imagination. Answer: figments of Clive Owen's imagination. Or possibly real....the ambiguity is just annoying in the end.
They should rename this film Twaddle.
Did i mention it was twaddle by the way?- Was this review helpful to you?

(25)Don't miss out on a good horror - with storyline . . .
By ZenZii (147 reviews) from Preston , 04 May 2013This movie had me gripped from beginning to end and the storyline was very different than the usual, slash/gash/violence/rubbish out these days. How can people say this movie was boring. The usual 'found footage' movies that seem to have overtaken everywhere you turn. THis was a refreshing change and i was glad of some structure to the movie. Oh and of course Clive Owen hot dish on a platter he can star in all films from now on and I wouldn't get bored. The acting was brill from the two families and intrigued me. This is definitely one to watch. x x x- Was this review helpful to you?

Lost its way
By JayZed (1 review) , 22 Apr 2013Thought it started off well with some nice cuts to a Spanish family which does ties the film up in a clever way. Unfortunately it failed to deliver at the end despite the good start. Story fell apart and became lots of bits forced together with no real conclusive or reasonable ties. Nice cinematography at times.- Was this review helpful to you?

A very silly storyline
By Sammy1973 (277 reviews) from King's Lynn , 28 Feb 2013This is a very silly film really about an imaginary friend that isn't imaginary. The entity itself is superb, the special effects are very good and Clive Owen and the cast are good. It's just the story itself to me is so ridiculous that the film loses any kind of credibility.- Was this review helpful to you?

A good little ghost tale
By evilwavey (26 reviews) from Southampton , 31 Jan 2013A good little ghost tale which does keep you guessing till the end and wondering what is real. I enjoyed it and successfully brings the genre away from spooky old houses to the modern estates.- Was this review helpful to you?
