    [Highly rated reviewer]

Invasion Earth is awful, using an absurd plot-line (Aliens decide to take over the earth using trailers from bad movies to melt people's brains!) to show clip after clip of trailers from Science Fiction cheapies of the 50's and 60's.

There's nothing here the resembles a coherent narrative, just a mass of other people's films edited together to show how truly awful they were (8 seconds of The Thing from Another World & Invasion of the Body Snatchers excluded).

It tries to be a parody and an homage but ends up being worse than all of the movies it sends up. Avoid at all costs!

As usual with a Hollywood DVD release, the trailer is the only extra.
