  what can be said about iron eagle,it is your typical 80's actioner where no matter what the hero does,lke fly into enemy airspace take out and cripple the entire armed forces on an enemy nation and save his dad while learning a valuable lesson from the supected dead mentor who turns up at the end with minor bumps and bruises.if only all films where like this i mean it even has a montage
  
  being a child of the 80's and being raised on films like this means it holds a special place in my heart so love it or loathe it if you want 80's cheese then this film has it in spades
