Ocasionally moving but ultimately shallow

Iron Maiden are the world's greatest rock band, and to see them live is something else but here there's an awful lot of Maiden fans screaming at the camera and what feels like 30 mins of actual interview footage.

It's not the first live Maiden DVD so something more substantial than some talking heads and concert footage would have been more deserving to the band. It is something to see such passionate fans in South America, and it is touching to see the band so passionate and happy but surely something else happened during those weeks other than Bruce taking off and landing, fans screaming at the camera and shots of the aeroplane?

Wonderful, wonderful band, awesome songs but vacuous content put together by students living out their own dream with little thought for an actual audience outside of their houseshare. 3 stars just because the songs are so damn good, but really nothing more than a bitty concert dvd.
