Architect Eric Roberts learns he is about to lose his long battle against Aids and decides to throw a two-day pre-suicide farewell party surrounded by family and friends. But his guests are uncomfortable in the highly-charged atmosphere where opinions collide, secrets spill and old wounds heal. Everyone struggles to accept Roberts's fate, and their own. Unsympathetic characters clash with heavy sentiment in director Randal Kleiser's well-meaning comedy drama, which quickly wears out its celebratory welcome.

This is fantastic
You cry and smile and most of all wish you had the courage to take control of your life! The ending is beautiful and I see this as a true love story.
Eric Roberts is fantastic in this role.
