Great stuff. I've always been a fan of old comedies series and this was very funny. Why can't they make comedies like this one that still make you laugh after nearly 30 yrs?

I could watch this classic British comedy series over and over again for decades and no doubt will. Windsor Davies really makes It Ain't Half Hot Mum something to watch, the other actors as a support. Micheal Knowles is a bit useless.

Was'nt quite as big as Dads army but great just the same.

It's rarely repeated on TV but this show all about a concert party group of soldier in India,Bring the laughs in from start to end.

    Excellent British Sit-Com!

Just as good as series 1. Michael Bates as Ranji the bearer is superbly funny. The one extra feature on this disc is the 1975 Top of the Pops performance of Whispering Grass by Windsor Davies and Don Estelle.
