[Highly rated reviewer]If anyone is interested in watching most of the Douglas' family at play, this is right up their street.
If, however, you want to watch a film with a beginning, a middle and an ending, and above all, a story-line, don't bother with this one.

Don't get itBy a customer , 13 Nov 2012Love Michael Douglas and it was nice to meet his family but this wasn't a film,no storyline,no drama,no direction, which is a surprise 'cause Michaels films are normally great.

A Beautiful FilmBy a customer from England , 16 Apr 2008I didn't know exactly what to expect from this film, as I just got it because I'd never seen a film with a whole acting family as a cast as in this case with the Douglas family.
What I found was a truly beautiful family film. Ok, so it didn't have a story line as such. There were no special effects, no CGI graphics etc., but the story lay within the characters in the family, the way they interacted with each other, the problems each faced within their own personal lives, but how they got through them together as a family. It's not all sad and depressing though, there are some funny points throughout the entire film which lifts the mood and makes it an accurate portrayal of family dynamics.
Well worth seeing
Huh?By a customer from Bristol , 21 Feb 2008Kudo's to Kirk Douglas in this performance after his stroke... but the plot falls flat
What a Mistake.By CapeRyche (5 reviews) from Northolt , 25 Jan 2008An unbearably painful movie. The best bit about it were the Bonus Features.
The presence of three generations doesn't even get close to making up for the boring storyline. :/ (N)
