Worth Watching

Not bad for a 30 year old English(very ) tv show. Worth watching for the good cast alone. I prefered the movie. Well Liz Taylor was in it aged about 18. The jewess in this tv job was not a patch on Liz.- Was this review helpful to you?

By tanker12uk (28 reviews) from Bromley , 17 Mar 2012I should have checked this is the 82 british remake and regretfully is not a patch on the 1950's one this is a made for TV special and fades to black on the scence change where the breaks would have been the magic is missing the cast is stella now but then they where young James Mason shows well as Issac and the very young looking Sam Neill plays the stoney norman knight with a hint of his skills to come but it lacks the drama and pace of the 50's film
Now I have to try and get the 50's one- Was this review helpful to you?

Ivanhoe Ivanhoe
By NICKJOJO (255 reviews) from Surrey , 19 Oct 2011An oldie but not bad. The acting is a bid OTT and the action not what you'd expect today but the story and pace keep the interest going.- Was this review helpful to you?
