Anyone who ever had ambitions to work in the film industry needs to see this low-budget gem, which sits somewhere between Hollywood satire and fly-on-the-wall mockumentary. Danny Huston is a tour de force as the eponymous Ivan – an LA agent – whose life in the Hollywood fast lane comes to a crashing halt when he’s given a wake up call by his doctor.
With great support from Peter (Robocop) Weller as Ivan’s boorish megastar client, it’s funny, deeply poignant and unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
