A different take

This movie started off quite slow, but once it got started it was actually quite good and 'we' enjoyed it, although our 4 year old seemed a bit confused!. This was also quite a long film so thank heavens for the pause button. Don't expect the rosy little fairy tale we all know!!- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008I will keep this review short, as I haven't much to say bout this film other then the story was ridiculous, going all over the place and failing to answer some important questions. It also went on for far too long, was boring, had no real action, and was totally pointless. My regret? Forcing myself to watch the whole film, as I kept on saying to myself "it will get good soon!", but it didn't...
So my advice would be to avoid this film, and that's coming from a massive Jim Henson film/works fan. Honestly, it is bad. If you do watch it, please don't let this be a reflection on the rest of Henson's works, which are brilliant!- Was this review helpful to you?

Ok but too long for kids

Its just too long..... bored my 8 year old to tears, and she's not easily bored - quite happily sat through a DVD about Anne Frank!- Was this review helpful to you?
