Is it really all those years since this wonderful miniseries was on TV!! It is still as fresh as ever and keeps you guessing right to the end!
The commentry is interesting to listen too as it shows how much research went into this production!
This DVD is of course the TV movie, Sound and picture appear to have been cleaned up quite a lot and made in 16:9 Widescreen,Well we all know the story of The Ripper now and we've seen different takes on the story.
This one is about the same, Louis Collins and Michael Caine play the detectives out to catch the Ripper (No mention of the Prince of Wales too much here being a TV movie no doubt)
The only little upset is the movie is split into two parts as it was on TV,Could easily have joined to make one long movie but other than that well worth a look.
