Is it really all those years since this wonderful miniseries was on TV!! It is still as fresh as ever and keeps you guessing right to the end!

The commentry is interesting to listen too as it shows how much research went into this production!

Excellent viewing. Well acted with a great cast and well worth a whole 3 hour compulsive viewing in one sitting. It reminds us just how good and under-rated Michael Caine is.

  • Jack, the real killer revealed.

Excellent! Caine plays a fantastic part as Insp. Fred Aberline. With a great supporting cast in Lewis Collins, Jane Seymour, Armand Assante and Hugh Fraser. The story is well put together and is gripping from start to finish, dramatising the fear and hatred that was suffered by a City, shaken to its core by the evil and horrific murders that occured on its doorstep in Whitechapel in 1888.

I believe this IS the true history of Jack the Ripper, a cover up that remains in place to this day.
