Sick in a good way.. Great fun, just like the TV programme with a bigger budget and a bigger shopping trolly. I always feel that I shouldn't like it but I do!- Was this review helpful to you?

JACKASS: THE MOVIE may go down in history as the most irresponsible, outrageous footage ever to be released by a major Hollywood studio. Based on the MTV show of the same name, creators and coproducers Jeff Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville, and Spike Jonze stretch their surprisingly successful concept into a feature-length film. Watch cast regulars Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Bam Margera, Dave England, Ryan Dunn, Jason 'Wee Man' Acuna, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGehey, and Brandon Dicamillo as they perform a series of ridiculously dangerous and dangerously stupid stunts. Entering a rental car in a crash-up derby, snorting wasabi, eating a urine-soaked snow-cone, self-inflicting paper cuts, and using a store's display toilet are just a few of the increasingly obscene antics that unfurl at a relentless pace. A large portion of the footage finds the pranksters in Japan, dressing up in outlandish outfits and wreaking havoc on the unsuspecting locals. Whether or not this is a hysterical romp or a waste of eighty minutes is for the viewer to decide, but the fact can't be argued, JACKASS: THE MOVIE is slapstick entertainment for the 21st Century, incorporating the modern world's fascination with reality television and obsession with disaster into a raucous, electrifying spectacle.- Was this review helpful to you?

Bigger and more creative than TV series
By a customer , 10 Jun 2011They take the pranks, stunts and sense of humour of most teenage boys and take it too a much more extreme level. Sounds horrible to anyone that isn't a teenage boy (or middle aged man that never really grew up), but with an open mind it can be really quite funny and at times quite smart (although I can imagine thats not their intention).
Funnier, more ridiculous and daring than the TV series.
There are bits you'll like and bits you won't but there is something for almost everyone.
The pranks are great for the reactions of the public and the stunts for their imagination & daring. And although I can't watch them, I can even see the humour in the grosser sections.
They've turned something that should never have worked into a real success. They are the original and they do it the best. Most of them are likeable and they seem to find it genuinely fun (or at least funny) which makes it much more enjoyable to watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

By KingWalshington (218 reviews) from Brixham, Swindon , 29 Jan 2010Full of brilliant sketches and the guys really make you feel like you are part of the team when watching this. You can almost relate to this film because it is simply guys having fun and doing stuff that makes people laugh.
Very entertaining and glad that the Jackass crew made it main stream.- Was this review helpful to you?
