For any fans of Brass Eye, The Day Today, or the genius that is the Chris Morris comedy stable this is a must see. Dark, distrubing comedy sketches, screwed up sounds and visuals, this is a comedy show that pushes the boundaries of taste. Just watch and never be the same again.
I was at school when this was first aired on TV and all my friends stayed up late to watch it. We never really laughed during it as it was far too shocking to at the time. But the following week when we all reminded each other that it was on, the sketches were suddenly hilarious. It's still somewhat the same - scenes are still far too close to the bone but they still make you laugh...at some point.
This is an intelligent comedy series written by those whose minds are teetering on the border between a bit sick and completely insane. It's intelligent because anything that Chris Morris has a hand in keeps your brain working overtime. It's insane because anything Chris Morris has a hand in is never quite the norm. And it's often sick because it makes light of some rather disturbing issues, emotions and facets of human nature. There will be gasping moments and you'll turn away from the screen...but you'll keep on watching....
