JB live at Atlanta
My initial reaction to this offering was one of disappointment. The set moved at a very fast pace which is all very well when I compare it to my memory of JB's concert at the Albert Hall which had the staid old place rockin', but doesnt come across as exciting at this concert. A bit unfair comparing a DVD to a live gig? Well I'll have to rent some other JB offerings to see if they capture the Godfather of Soul any better. First impression - I wouldnt rent this disk again if I needed a boost on a dull day.
