Prefer his newer concertsBy a customer from Beccles,Suffolk , 10 Feb 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]Excellent reproduction from a 1978 concert. However I personally prefer his latest concerts.World of Music & Gentleman of Music.......May be an age thing!!!!!!!!!
A bit of an early productionBy Alan Mitchell from Dyserth, North Wales , 23 Feb 2007Worth a watch if only to confirm that his later DVDs are better.
Dated but great!By a customer from Essex , 22 Feb 2006I was military musician stationed in Germany at the time this was originaly released and it certainly brought back some fantastic memories. The sound quality is graet, as well as the high standard of musicianship, which Hansi is famed for.
Well worth a look and have a laugh at the massive lapels, shirt collars, beards and hair styles!
All in all a fabulous DVD!

TraditionalBy MAGNUM1 from Armagh , 15 Aug 2005Very traditional James Last especially those who remember the Orchestra from the 70's.
A little bit dated both in quality and appearance, the later DVD releases are far superior in sound and vision.
Still for those fans who like a bit of nostalgia this performance at the Royal Albert Hall still portrays the genius and the master at work in an era that has sadly gone.
This is more an archieve piece which is more for the collector from the 70's. Still worth a watch.

Classic ConcertBy stanza from East Sussex , 24 Nov 2004A great classic concert from the time when James Last still had blonde hair.
A full Albert Hall & the audience can't resist getting up out of their seats and dancing all round the hall.
I have this on VHS from about 20 years ago but it's only 60 mins long. The DVD gives you an extra 30 mins plus other extras as well.
Recorded for German TV.
