Good Food.....
By Richard from Warrington , 21 Mar 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
You can watch this from start to finish, episode by episode or just pick out the menus you want to watch (great if you want to follow one specific recipe). The camera gets a bit close sometimes & can make yopu dizzy & there is some careful editing so some of the recipes appear to cook faster (but don't all cooking programs do the same). However Jamie presents this in his usual manner ripping food apart & chucking it onto the plate. I find this kind of cooking great. Well worth the rental!- Was this review helpful to you?

Pure Pukka 2
By angelintraining (28 reviews) from Retford , 15 May 2006Following on from Disc 1, even more fabulous food from superstar Jamie. Mouthwatering meals, which you can prepare in minutes and even better than that, there's hardly any washiing up afterwards. The desserts are to die for, so you may need to buy clothes with elasticated waists, but hey who cares, a little bit of indulgance does you good. One to watch, or better still treat yourself and buy it, it's the best I've seen. Down to earth, simple and fun.- Was this review helpful to you?

Pure Pukka
By angelintraining (28 reviews) from Retford , 15 May 2006As usual, fabulous, mouth watering recipes, and so simple, that the cat could cook them.
I tried one of the recipes, the marinated lamb for a dinner party and it was absolutely fabulous. Instead of spending hours preparing a meal, it was all prepared in an hour. If you're looking for inspiration without any arty farty stuff, this dvd is the top dog. Simple ingredients, simple to do.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Must See
By chrisscole from Oxon , 19 Jan 2006A must see for any budding cuisine enthusiast who hasn't got the money to fork out on gourmet produce. Jamie Pliver's light-hearted essex-boy humour combined with quality music, and simple yet delightful easy to pick up receipes. Tried a few of them, they all worked well and were really tasty.- Was this review helpful to you?
