A true comedian at his very best - deserves 100 stars!!

Filmed in January 2004 live in Birmingham, this is Jasper doing what he does best, stand up comedy. This is a great collection of some of his best jokes, together with a few new ones. You may have heard most of them before, but that doesn't spoil a fabulous performace as he tells them in different ways. His description of the time he had dinner with Princess Diana is classic.

The DVD is conveniently broken into many chapters, each covering certain topics - sports, royals for example - very clever as it is a continuous performance. So if there are any parts you particularly like, it's easy to play it again.

The great thing about Jasper is that he takes true life situations, and extracts the comedy from them in a completely unique way. All without resorting to offensive language, so no worries about watching with younger viewers.

I highly recommmend this - 91 minutes of pure comedy genius.

funny man

great old type comic

Not so funny

I found this DVD to be not as funny as a lot of his televised shows. A bit of a damp squid I'm afraid. Still watchable though.

The same material

This dvd is all old material but in all fairness Jasper did say that he was doing what the audience wanted. There is some classic stuff on there like the nutter on the bus.

I never get bored of Jasper Carrott so I was pleased with this dvd

Unlike Wine

Jasper does not get better with age, but a fun time is had..a smile rather than a laugh

Comedy Genius

Ok so it was just a 'best of' collection. But the fact I know have a DVD of the man in my collection is fantastic. Just funny in a word. Observational humour and its best. The amount of times he has made me laugh til it was hurting me. He may be grumpy old man humor, and I was there on the one night of the show and it felt weird seeming to be the youngest person there, but I laughed and I laughed til I nearly peed and now I have it all on DVD fantasic. Peter Kay may be funny and be with it but no-one will ever beat Jasper....

Home Grown Carrott

JC fans won’t be disappointed in this recording of his home town performance. His timing and delivery remain second to none.

The material isn’t new but brought together well on this ‘Best Of’ DVD.

Big laughs all round, we watched this about 4 times in 5 days...Jasper Carrott is hilarious and even though its from ages ago the jokes still stand.
