    Why Why Why Why...

Why do these films get made? It's not scary, not funny, not anything. Simply a waste of time. Having seen the trailer I decided to go and see it in the Cinema. Never again will I see a film based solely on a trailer. It leaves you feeling angry, wanting your money back and wanting your time back.

What did make me laugh though was the fact that they made a sequel. I haven't seen that and I doubt very much that I ever will.

Excellent. A very scary film, much better than its sequel. I recommend this one if you want a good horror.

This is not a horror movie

The makers of Jeepers Creepers should be congratulated; they have created a new genre: Annoyance movies. Sure, it masquerades as a horror movie but that's not what it is. Okay, so, my point. In a horror movie you always (almost always) need at least one stupid decision to be made. If they kids did what we would do, they'd never be able to go into the woods and get massacred and that would be no fun. However, Jeepers Creepers is 90 minutes of stupid decisions. Let's give it a whirl, shall we? Answer me this: If you *thought* you saw a guy toss (toss like they weighed nothing) what you *thought* might be two bodies into a pile and then he chased you in his truck and ran you off the road, would you go back to see if the people who may or may not be down that pipe needed a hand getting out? NO! Of courseyou wouldn't! That's just stupid decision number 1. Over the course of the film there are countless others. This film contains no frights at all, mainly because on the rare occasion they do crop up, you're so annoyed that they even got into this situation in the first place that you don't care. I was praying for these idiots to be butchered within the first 15 minutes of the film and, I have to tell you, I was pretty disappointed. If you like poorly developed, annoying characters and horror films that are less scary than a Disney movie then this be right up your street. If you're not a complete idiot, stay well away.

    Cheese on a stick!

Wow what a load of cheese this was, absolutley awful! The special effects towards the end were quite good, but the acting.... oh so very poor. The best character in the whole film is a Pychic lady, the rest of the cast were just dispicable. I like the idea of the film being based around a deranged murderer but when I discovered what it was that was actually chasing them I felt dissapointed... Majorly. Utter pap, I'm not even going to give number 2 a look in!

    Avoid like the plague

I will never forget seeing this movie at the cinema. It was being hailed the best horror in 20 years... This film starts off really spooky then you get to see what this thing that is after the kids is. The entire cinema started laughing! I have never in my life experienced that. I was in stiches with the rest of this movie. You just cant take this film seriously, what were they thinking?

Its sad because you can see what this fim could have been if they went for a more creepy psychological story. I still cant believe they made a sequel...

A good twist on the horror genre

It begins with a teenage boy and girl in a car in the middle of Hicksville, middle America. 'Wait a minute' you cry, I've seen this film before! But they are brother and sister rather than lovers and the story unfolds at a pacy rate.

Good use of suspense and a nice twist at the end lift this film out of the purely mundane bracket. One of the better teen horrors out there, looking forward to watching 'Jeepers Creepers 2'.

    Genuinely creepy

Scarily effective chiller with a better than average script and a truly bone-chilling final frame.

I might even watch the sequel.

    Brilliant Film

A brilliant film with a good story line & excellent effects. The 'Jeeper' is really well done & as the 2 main characters go back to the church to look around, you will find yourself on the edge of your seat. As the story goes on, you go on to discover the importance of the song.. 'jeepers creepers'!

Obviously you need a certain type of personality for this film so if you're a bit of a frigid snob like the idiots that have rated this film poorly, maybe it won't be for you.

Only one way to find out....

A game of two halves indeed

Believe what people write about this. The first half is very good, tense and made me shout at the antics of the pair involved, so at least it got me interested. Then you saw the 'beasty', and it went wrong. The creature is not scary, and as it can't die, a bit pointless. The worst part was the cops who shot billions of bullets at an empty stairwell in case it came up the stairs, then never fired a shot when it grabbed the lad and naffed off to eat him. How weird is that? I mean, American cops missing the chance to shoot something?? Totally unbelieveable. It's actually more likely that an 8 foot bat would disguise itself as a hillbilly and do Home Improvement with corpses than that.
