it's Hendrix's music that makes this a worthy watch.
The footage are for the most part classic and well known clips - although there's some interesting footage from Swedish TV I'd not seen before.
There are various interviews with people who knew Hendrix and some who didn't, and they go through the album chronologically discussing each song.
Yes, I did pick-up on a few things I didn't know before - but very minor and not one of the songs discussed goes into as much detail as I'd seen elsewhere.
There's some bloke who does an OK job of demonstrating some of the guitar techniques - although to be honest I think I can play better than he did.
This title is decidedly average, saved of course course by Hendrix's genius.
