I like Carr, but, as with his previous DVDs, he's much better taken in small doses. Again, this show dragged on too long and I found myself looking at the clock to see how much longer it was likely to last. As always, there is a sprinkling of gems, but you do find yourself having to wait for them. The 'extras' were a real disappointment. The 'virtual gig' was weak, and some poor bugger travelled from Burnley for it!. The 'sketch show' shows exactly why he'll never make one. The Moyles piece is painful and pointless, the Wright interview, just pointless. But it was great to see his 'Bo Selecta' mask in action again. Carr is better off sticking to what he does best, presenting light entertainment and confining himself to shorter routines.
