Shes harsh, and sometimes you really feel that you should not be laughing, and when you really listen to the jokes they are clever, not crude. Definitely recommend.
This was far funnier than I thought it would be. I've become a big fan on the back of this and highly recommend it. I think I enjoyed it more than my husband so it is probably more suited to a female audience. Joan Rivers has very fast humour, so it's one gag after another, leaving you smiling and laughing all the way through. Not many American stand-ups make me laugh like she did. Highly recommended.
I wasnt all that impressed with this DVD.
Normally Joan is one of the funniest comediens going. However this one wasnt very funny and it wasnt very long either. Come on Joan, youre better than this!!!!
I was so disappointed with this dvd - Joan Rivers seems to have lost her humour. There were a few old jokes in the dvd but most of the time she substituted swearing for humour. Don't get me wrong I don't mind swearing but this was just not funny.
Better than lots of other so called comedians like Vic Reeves, Victoria Wood, Eddie Izzard, Harry Hill etc... Quite entertaining but never really laughing from the belly stuff like Ed Byrne.
Quite a number of references to American stuff that are not really relevant or able to relate to.

Not bad- made me laugh quite a bit, but not as funny as I'd have hoped.
Joan was not as outrageous as she can be.
you couldn't let the kids watch Joan, but she's a very funny lady, if your not too prudish you will enjoy her outlook on life.
I love Joan Rivers but I didnt like this DVD. It all just seemed cheap and tacky. They should of spent less money on the pointless orchestra and more on the stage design or venue.
Was really looking forward to seeing this after watching Joan on another stand up show, was disappointed that she used all the same material, however if you havent seen her before, then its highly reccomended
I had been really looking forward to seeing this as I think Joan Rivers is a genuinely funny woman but it was really disappointing. I don't know whether this is representative of her normal standup but it did not make me laugh at all. In fact I fell asleep half way through and didn't bother watching the rest. It seems to just try to be deliberately offensive by systematically going through various groups and individuals and saying how she hates them. I know this is pretty standard fodder for stand up but she did not follow through on any of them. It was really disappointing, definitely not recommended unfortunately.
