They have him arrested for allegedly travelling ticketless and go to Rai Saheb's place, with Jai masquerading as Vikramjeet. The plan is to swindle him of his property until they discover that Rai Saheb is deep in debt. When Rai Saheb has a heart attack, he turns his company over to Jai. You don't know what you are missing. Govinda and Sanjay Dutt have acted brilliantly in this hillarious movie. The story has a real fast pace and (except during some songs) you wouldn't dream to touch the 'pause' button.
The way these two have delivered their dialogues, it seems as they are ad-libing throughout the film.
It is a story of two thieves, Veru (Govinda) and Jay (Sanjay Dutt), and yes you guessed it correctly, the names have been taken from Sholay, who run away from Mumbai after accidentally causing the death of the Don's younger brother.
Some parts have been copied from Lethal Weapon but are definitely funnier.
Whenever I am bored, I just put this film on to cheer me up.
Go on, use the ADD button.... NOW!!
This is the classic David Dhawan formula film, but I enjoy them for that. I like David's film, as they are almost always comedies, very light and fluffy. But that's where the problem lies too - it's so light, that the plot is almost non-existence. The 2 male leads are perfect in their acting and the timing is OK, but the lines aren't that funny. So it's good to watch and have some fun, but don't expect side-splitting funny humour nor any plot. For that see David's 'Mujhse Shaadi Karoge?'
